Often shouted words loose meaning
Repetition, redundancy, familiarity
Turn does the phrase
Into sentiment void of power.

What shall we call these things
Courage, commitment, dedication, belief
Pallor the soul
To sigh and ache?

Can we speak of heroes anymore?
